Hon. A. A. Jayne.brother of our
Dr. R. A. Jaytie, and two other
Hood Riverites, John Leland Hen
derson and G. D. Woodworth have
shaken the dirt of the Apple City
off of their feet and turned their
faces toward the land of the Monte
zumas. Mr. Jayne honored this
office with a pleasant call this morn
iug for "auld acquaintance" sake
and to say goodbye as he passed on
his way to his new home among
the "greasers." He speaks very
favorably of the new location and
seems to think there are "millions
in it. There is one tiling certain,
if there is anything to be made in
the enterprise this bunch will ac
complish it, for they are three of
about the "hottest" of Hood River's
"live wires."
