RESOLUTION RESOLUTION It Is resolved by the city of St. Johns, Oregon: That whereas, said city did on the 16th day of March, lot I, enter Into a contract with one I.. Scybold, wherein and where by the snld I.. Scybold did contract and agree to build nntl construct for said city n sewer system to be known the "Ma ple Street .Sewer" anil has been officially designated as "Sewer District No. i,u that pursuant to said contract and agree ment the said contractor did construct said sewer system so named and num bered; that the city engineer did file his official acceptance of said work on the nth dav of lutic. lott.that said official nrri-titntN'r uni thereafter dlilv ntmroved by the city sewer Inspector and by the street committee of the city council of It is resolved by the city of St. Johns: That it deems It cxcdicnt and necessary to improve Charleston street from the center line of Hayes street to the south erly line of Olympla street In the city of St. Johns in the following manner, to wit: II y grading said portion of street to grade or subcradc to be established and by laying a 6 foot cement walk nnd 11 foot curb from Hudson to Olympla streets, together with necessary cement cross walks and corrugated iron gutters at any point between Hayes and said Olympla streets, and by placing a strip of macadam In the center of the said street the entire lenutli of said improve incut, said macadam to be 8 inches deep In center and 6 inches deep nt each edge, according to the plans nnd specifications Patrons are assured of only the freshest of everything in our new Jersey street Btore. We haven't the room to store a lot of goods and keep them until they arc stale. Our floor space being limited, we must receive fresh goods every day to replace what has been sold the day before.
