The public fountain that long has
lain in the city hall basement will

a few days. The city council has
ordered it placed adjacent to the
city halt grounds.
The Peninsula Rank has gotten
out handsome folders showing the
condition of that institution, be
sides giving some valuable inform
ation regarding banking terms. The
folder is neat and attractive aud
well worth preserving.

On Wednesday the tooth build
ing permit for this year was taken
out at the city hall. The total of
the permits amounted in round
figures to $124,418, making an
average of $1244 for each permit.
This is a showing to be proud of.
The largest permit for the year was
f 10,000 and the smallest $50. Only
two permits were over $3500.
