Ellis Young of Klamath, Falls, was a guest at. the home of Post master Valentine ou Sunday. 'Mr. Young is a cousin of F. W.'s and it is very much impressed, with the fine opportunity of securing a tomestead iu Luke couuty, where' he expects to exercise his right la the near future. He says the land there at present is worth at lent 20a acre. , . Plans are being prepared for an up-to-date depot at East Sf Johns. The structure will be of brick and entirely modern in every respect. Business at this point has been far greater than the North Bank 'offi cials anticipated. The building' will be commodious enough to ac commodate all business for some time to come. Now if the O. R. & N. would take a tumble and erect au appropriate depot here it would not come amiss.
