Grand Boxing Event
: A grand boxing carnival will be given in the St. Johns rink next
Thursday evening, Feb. 24th, under the auspices of the Firemen's
Athletic, club. The principal event will be a nine-round contest between
.Prof. Frank Ely of St. Johns and John Turner of San Francisco. Doth
have good records in fistic circles, and the bout promises to be more than
