Parties owning property which
las been advertised for delinquent
assessments are coming in auu
paying up in good shape and it
looks like they would all be in be
fore it becomes necessary to sell the
nronerlv. If they do this it will
save them a great deal of expense
and trouble. So far there is very lit
tle extra expense, as the little ad
vertising bill is all the additional
expense, but if it goes to sale, there
will be penalties, interest aim cosi,
all of which will be a great deal
more than lust the amount of the
assessment. It is hoped the proper
ty owners will all meet this obliga
tion before it becomes necessary to
sell.
We would call attention to the
reward offered in another column
by the Masous. This makes S'250
reward now offered. It is hoped
the fiend may be apprehended and
brought to justice. It is bad enough
when two brutes tail out ano iigm
and one kills the other, but when
one of our most highly esteemed
citizens, who was always kind
bpnrted and irenerous, witn a smiie
and a word of good cheer for every
one on all occasions, is rutniessiy
shot down, murdered in cold woou
in his very door yard, it is going a
little bevoud the limit of huinau en

F.lectric Light is the magnet that draws trade. The
bright store is the "hypnotic eye" of business. People can

Is your competitor with the Klcctrictilly illuminated show

A show window brilliantly illuininnled with Klcctrie

And don't neglect the Klcctrie Sign. It is soliciting
