There was Valentine. I.iebermau, V. A. Smith and the writer. Just a few that I think will always remember those mornings as we had to look out one for another, but they aie gone just like our friend and brother, never to return. We liked Hilly and how well he was esteemed by the com munity was attested by the number at his funeral. Peninsula lodge, I. O. O. P. dates of I.aurel lodge was a fine eulogy on the life of the departed. The singing by the ipiartet from Peninsula lodge No. 128 was grand. Castile, Shaver, McKean and Dot son did well. Then there was the song by the Welsh Cambrian social society ot roruatui mat was beau tiful. Everything was so nicely arranged and so well carried out that it was a great source of conso lation to the lcreaved family and friends. We think this little trib ute is due our brother and fellow workman. Good bye Hilly. We win an nave to travel tne same road some time, whenever the grim luotorman of death calls for us. T. J. M. I wo weeks ago, disgusted by the filthy condition of the hall iu which they had been holding meetings, made so by some dance the night before, where whiskey bottles, cigais and cigarettes played an im portaut part, they decided to build a temporary building in which to worship on the lot they are paying for 011 New York street.
