rather busy place but the walls
are yet bare ami a few weeks will

Arrangements have been made
by the management for an addition
to the building which will use
about 28x36 of the remainder of
the premises. This addition will
be made two stories in height, and
wilt correspond with the balance of
the building, This will give more
room space on the second floor ns
well as for the htchoii and other
necessary rooms on the ground
lloor.
It Is th" Srtpvitjnii of the hotol
management to run a cuisine that
will be a credit to a city many
times the size of St. Johns, and
special dinners anil lunches will be
largely catered tt. The ojeiiIng of
the hotel is eagerly awaited.

Remembered The Day,
Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Aruett
Ttiesdayquietly celebrated the anni
versary of their marriage. At the
same time their daughter, Mrs. W.
O. Clark, celebrated the anniver
sary of her wedding to W. O.
Clark it having "been a double
wedding at different dates." It is
not a common event for mother and
daughter to have chosen the same
day of the same month for the
nuptial ceremonies.

everything runs smioothly but the
moment one fire occurs whiili
