erty owners stating the cost of im
proving said street, and asking for
prompt returns. The first cheek
received by the recorder was from
E. F. Day, Hcppner, Oregon, who
owns lot 4 in block 41. Mr. Day's
check wns for $200.81 and his be
ing so quick to respond gives him
much credit.
