have arranged for a ball to be given

W. A. band of this city. The pur
pose is to assist the boys in secur
ing uniforms. The object is a
most laudable one, and one in
which the citizens of St. Johns
should feel a pride. The price of

Daring Burglary,
One of the most daring burglar

liauser mill, preparatory to com
mencing building operations.
The St. Johns Lumber Co.
will install a pony siding resaw.
The capacity of the mill will be in
creased to 30,000 feet per day.

provement work commeuce?" asks
a reader. Don't know, but, per
haps but no, we know we don't

addition. The lower floor will be
used for store purposes, the upper
floor for living rooms.
