The ladies of the St. Johns Civic Improvement League met at tin residence of Mrs. J. Henry Smitl Tuesday, March 58, in the after noon. Three new members joined and an enthusiastic time was en joyed. lucre is a movement on foot to form a juvenile league, and so far it has been very favorably considered by both parents and teachers. At present the ladies are very busy preparing for the entertain ment to be given April 7. At the close of the session the hostess served dainty refreshments, after which the League adjourned to meet at the home of Mrs. R. Shcpard April -I. The Ladies Aid Society of the M. K.
