Club which held the candy sale at Stewart's store last Saturday, succeeded in raising over $14.00 for the purpose of buying ma terial tor the Albertlna Kerr nursery In Portland. Edna Wolfe left for Portland Sat urday night to attend the' Rose Show. She will then go to Flagstaff, Arizona to visit with her father un til this fall, when she will return to attend school. Mrs. George Hobbs closed her school at Butte Vulley last week by giving a picnic at the Slave Flume. They roasted Weenies and enjoyed a beautiful lunch, played games and sang songs till the twilight hour when the pupils and teacher said good-bye, and the school year wat ended.
