See that you receive youra PRINEVILLE JULY 5 -6-7 -8-9-10 CHILDREN'S DAY PROGRAM Children's day, which is celebra ted every June all over the United States by the Children's departments of Sunday Schools, was observed yesterday in a program at the Muth Qdiflt Church, the Methodist and Presbyterian churches combining for the occasion. The program was held during the church hour, and spick and span little lads, and lassies in white dres ses, with hair in curls and big fluffy bows, occupied the centers of attrac tion. The following program was pres ented by members of the Sunday Schools. Opening Sentences Mr. Shippue Song by the audience. Lords' Prayer in concert. Responsive reading from old Testl ment, led by Mr. Shippee, repre senting the Methodist Sunday School. Responsive reading from the New Testament, led by Mr. Day, rep resenting the Presbyterian Sun day School. Little John Trapman and Rose mary Ross were baptised by Rev- Patterson. Song, "I'll Be a Sunbeam," by two primary departments. Recitation, "Children's Day," song, "God is always near me" by Helen Lafollette. Recitation, "Honey Bees and Dew Drops, by Billy Ireland. Song by audience. Cradle roil song and presentation of cradle roll certificates to the new ly enrolled babies, under the direc tion of Mrs. F. E. Lafler. Song by audience. "Children's Day Mesage," by Paul ine Wlndom. Song by School. Rainbow bible exercise, by interme diate girls of both schools. Reading, "Mallie's Chanch" Fran cis Kidwell. Offering and Benediction. The decoration of the church was entirely in charge of the interme diate girls, who very tastefully at tended to this feature. The Primary department was In charge of Mrs. Dishman, who is the head of this department at the Pres byterian church. Guidance That Must Be Heeded.
