Elmo Pringle and wife came in from Spokane Saturday, bringing with them their household goods. They Intend to make their home here. They bought a half section of road lard on Crooked river, part of which they are planning to put under irri gation next season. The noted Newsom Creek Rabbit Club, which was responsible for the Rodent Bounty law in Crook County, a few years ago, and which seeming ly died when the bounty law was killed, gives evidence of being; very much alive. The great amount of damage done the crops of thfs section this season by the rabbits and sage, rats seems to be, the chief restorative. A meeting has been called at the school house Saturday night, De cember 6 at 7:30 p. m. It seems there are many things of Interest to be considered, for the welfare of the community, and it is hoped everybody in the community will be present at this meeting and help to reorganize 1 the club and put it to work for the welfare of all.
