Two carload! of aristocrats arrived
Tuoidiy morning and were unloaded
Ing the day,
. In the lot was one Shorthorn bull,
purchaand by M. R. Biggs, to head
the famous Wlllnwdale herd, at 13,
B00 from Day Hot h rock of Bprague,
Washington.
Three belfera at an average price
of f 1,000 each were also purchaied
for the Wlllowdale herd, and are ex
cellent Individuate.
II, P. Dunham bought an excellent
Durham bull from the herd of Henry
Tbteaaen of Sweetwater, Idaho, at
11,400, alio a younger bull and two
heifers at a slightly leaser price.
J. Ralph Breese purchased one bull
of the Thleaaen herd also at $1160. i
W. I. Diahman purchased a Short- J
born bull at $425; 8. 8. Stearns one
Hereford at $360.
Dickson A McDowell bought all of
the Washington State College show
herd of Polled Angus cattle excepting
one Individual at a consideration not
made public.
John Kuhn bought one bull from
the famous Glyde herd of California,
at $800.
Such animals as these will have a
very beneficial effect on the already
excellent herds of this part of the
state and next year some of the local
herds are to be represented In the
show ring at the International,
