some of the hay is turning out pretty
good.
J. R. Knox has some rye hay that
will make three tons to the acre.
D. W. Knox butchered a beef Sun
day and divided up with bis neigh
bors. Dick Koopman and family were
guests of J. R. Post's Sunday.
J. M. Hayes came over from the
Ten Bar rench Friday and took Mrs.
Hayes back with him Saturday.
Mrs. R. G. Raymond was a Prlne
vllle visitor Tuesday,
Mr. and Mrs. Veach and son, Rob
ert, of Cottage Grove and daughter,
Mrs. Churchill of Portland, are visit
ing at B. B. Groff's. Mrs. Groff Is
a daughter of Mr. Veach.
Miss Ethel Miller entertained some
of her friends Saturday evening with
a marshmallow toast. Grant Allen
is the champion marshmallow eater.
Mr, and Mrs. Dunham and Mrs.
Doak and daughter motored to Prlne

Mr. Post was able to ride over the
ranch Monday and look at the crops.
Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Gibson and

Taylor put up his hay.. Help is so
scarce the neighbors have to exchange
work.
R. H. Booten reports bis mother's
health much better than when she
left; she is now visiting her sister In
Seattle. .
