Cornett has purchased a band of sheep and will move to one of his ranches at Powell Butte. He will be accompanied by his daughter Zoe, and his siter, Mrs. Julia Stan- clift. Captain J. H. Rosenberg, who nnderwent a minor operation at New Orleans, La., yesterday, is im proving rapidly according to a tele gram received by Mrs. Rosenberg last night. Miss Hazel Sullivan sold more bonds in this city than any other member of the Women's Committee for the Third Liberty Loan. Mrs. ' Wm. Wilson, of Powell Butte, has the record for the outside districts. Miss Ethel Kidder and George Conway Burnison will be married at the home of the bride's parents in Portland, Sunday, April 14. Miss Kidder is a graduate of Crook County High and is a sister of Mrs. Earl McLaughlin. She represented Crook County High In the oratorical contest at Whitman College several years ago. Rev. W. L.
