OCHOCO IRRIGATION DISfRlCT.
Notice is hereby given by the
Board oflDirectors of the Ochoco
Irrigation Districtjthat on the 11th
dav of November, 1916, between
the hour of eight A. M. and five
P. M. of said day, a special election
will be held in and by the said
Ochoco Irrigation District, for the
purpose of voting upon the
question of issuing bonds of said
irrigation district in tho sum of
$1,100,000.00. for tho purpose of
constructing the proposed irrigation
works of said Ochoco Irrigation
District.
Said election will be held at
Lower McKay School House in
said Irrigation District.
Any person male or female, of
the age of twenty-one years or
over, whether a resident of the dis
trict or not, who is a bona fide
owner of land situated in the dis
trict as shown by the last assess
ment roll shall be entitled to vote
at said election, provided that a
bona tide claimant to an uncom
pleted title under the public land
laws of the United States or of the
State of Oregon shall be construed
to be a bona fide owner of lands
and provided that any corporation
holding title to land within the
district may vote at said election
as a single land owner through any
officer or agent of said corporation
authorized by resolution by its
Board of Directors.
This notice is given by virtue of
a resolution of the Board of Direc
tors of the Ochoco Irrigation
District, adopted on the 16th day
of October, 1916.

Be it remembered a Regular Term .
of the County Court of the State
of Oregon for the County of Crook
was begun and held on Wednesday
the first day of November, 1916,
the same being the first Wednesday
in said month and the time fixed by
law for holding a regular term of
said Court, when were present at
the hour of ten o'clock in the
morning the following officers:
G. Springer, Judge, presiding;
J. F. Blanchard, Commissioner; H.
J. Overturf, Commissioner; Warren
Brown, Clerk; E. B. Knox. Shejff.
Whereupon, the following pro
ceedings were had to-wit:
Whereas, the First National
Bank of Bend has turned over
warrants Nos. 208, 209, 210,211
and 212, Class 29, without interest
charges on receiving payment of
face of same from State, order
said warrants cancelled; each of
said warrants being in the sum of
11000.
Petition of Sherman Montgomery
for cancellation of taxes at Im
perial, Oregon, denied.
District Attorney instructed to
renew Complaints to Public .Service
Commission for the improvement
of t dephone connections and rates
in Crook County, as no action has
been taken by telephone companies

The present complaint shall cover
all connections and rates enforced
by telephone companies now operat

Bend.
