By virtue of an execution in
foreclosure duly issued by the clerk
of the Circuit Court of the County
of Crook, State of Oregon, dated
this 7th day of June, 1916, in a
certain action in the Circuit Court
for the said County and State,
wherein Zeptha Crouch and Geo. R.
Crouch, plaintiffs, recovered judg
ment against E. J. Lane, defend
ant, for the sum of Two Thousand
dollars, with interest at the rrfe
of 6 per cent per annum from jio

It appearing to this court from
the petition this day presented nd
filed by Nancy Odel, the guardian
of the estates of Thelma Miller and
Claude Fergueson, minors, praying
for an order of sale of certain real
estate belonging to said minors
that it is to the best interests of
said wards and each of them and of
their estates that such real estate
should be sold.
It is hereby ordered. That the
next of kin of said wards and all
persons interested in said estate
appear before this court on Monday
the 7th day of August, 1916, A. D.
at 10 o'clock A. M. at the court

and Application and Complaint,
filed against you in the above en
titled cause, within sixty (60)
days after the date of the first
publication of this summons (ex
clusive of the date of said first
publication), towit: on the 5th
day of August, 1916, and defend
the action or pay the amount due
towit: $109.23 with interest thereon
at the rate of fifteen (15) per cent
per annum from June 5, 1916, and
upon your failure so to do a Decree
will be rendered against vou fore
closing the lien of tho hereinafter
mentioned and described tax de
linquency certificate and costs
against the land and premises here
inafter dcscrila'd.
That this suit is for the purpose
of foreclosing lien for taxes of the
delinquency certificate, issued by
the Sheriff of tho County of Crook,
State of Oregon, on the 15th day
of September, 1915, for taxes for
the year 1,912, in the amount of
$36.90, with interest thereon at
the rate of fifteen (15) per cent
per annum from the 15th day of
September, 1912, and bearing date
of the 15th dav of September,
1915, and for taxes of subsequent
years as follows: On September
15. 1915, paid taxes for 1913 in the
sum of $34.36.
On September 15, 1915, paid
taxes for the year-1914 in the sum
of $27.50.
That C. C. Taylor, to whom said
certificate was issued is now the
owner and holder thereof.
That the property against which
said certificate of delinquency was
issued and upon which tho laxos
aforesaid were paid, is described
as follows: The East half (EJ)
of the Southwest quarter (SWJ),
and the West half (WJ) of the
Southeast quarter (SEJ), Section
thirtyone (31), Twp. fifteen (15),
South of Range Twenty -one (21),
East, Willamette Meridian, Crook
County, Oregon.
That the undersigned, M. R.
Elliott, is the Attorney and Agent
of the plaintiff and signs this sum
mons in his behalf and is re
siding wiiinn mo Mate oi uregon,
and all processes and papers iu the
proceeding may be served upon
him with the same force and effect
as if personally served on the
holder of said certificate within
this State.
