LOCAL BALL T08SEP.S MEET MORE DEFEATS The baseball game last Sunday at Davidson Park between the Prine ville and Culver nines, resulted in a 6-5 victory for the Jefferson county team. The game was played before a small crowd which tried to keep warm in a cold wind. The upheaval which won the game for the visitors came in their half of the last inning when Bunion was I found for four hits and three runs, converting a 5-3 defeat into a 6-5 victory. Errors were freely made by both teams but the local boys ' were unlucky enough to contribute where hits followed. j Dobry was the one big gun of the game, slamming put three hits in five times up and driving long , flies for two outs. Members of lust year's graduating class, the hijrli school faculty and a few friends of the family were present.
