The designation of said proposed
irrigation district and the name un
der which it shall be known is the
Oehoco Irrigation District.
The source of supply from whic
the water to be used in the irriga
tion of said district shall be taken,
shall be the waters of McKay Creek
and the waters of Ochoco Creek and
its tributaries, in Crook County,
State of Oregon and such waters of
the Crooked River above its con
fluence with Ochoco Creek as are
not already appropriated and used.
The signers to this petition, con
stituting the majority of the holders
of title of landrfsuceptible of irriga
tion from the scources herein des
cribed in said proposed irrigation
district, further petition this court
that five directors be elected as dir
ectors of said irrigation district and
that said directors be elected at
large, from the entire district. '
That the probable cost of the or
ganization of the aforesaid irriga
tion district is the sum of five hun
dred dollars and the petitioners
hereto accompany this petition with
a good and sufficient bond in the
sum of one thousand dollars which
is double the amount of the proba
ble cost of the organizing the said
irrigation district.
Wherefore your petitioners pray
that said irrigation district be or
ganized as povided by law and par
ticularly as set forth and required
by the statutes herein above refer
red to; that said petition be heard
as required by law and that the
said county court shall do and pre
form any and every thing necessary
and requisite to effect the organiza
tion of said distict, and for such other
and further orders, action and relief
as may be necessary and provided
by law for the organization of said
irrigation district your petitioners
will ever pray:
Reference is hereby made to the
notice accompanying this petition,
stating the, time of the meeting at
which this petition will be present
