Railroads Announced For Central Oregon Mr. Strahorn, who ia one of the biggest men in the northwest in con Mtuetion work, has announced in Portland that he ia ready to take up the construction of a ay atom of rail waya in Central Oregon that will, aa he puta it, develop thia country as it ahould be. The road aa announced, which announcement ia given in detail on page 2 of thia paper, will be a won derful development for the interior of the atate. It waa tho originul plan of Mr. Strahorn to build two more linea than have already bwn announced. One of theae would connect the Sis tera timber belt with the main linea at Hend, the other would connect I'rineville and the east country at the aame point. There are busy timea ahead for thia part of the aUte, and while tne development haa been alow in start ing, many thinira will be doing be fore the clone of 191(5. Planning a Big Revival The officers and members of the Chriatian Church of Prineville, take thia opMrtunity to announce that the Chriatian Church ia planning a big revival meeting to begin some time in January, 1916. Goodevange liata will bo secured and good, profit able meeting ia expected at that time. In tho meantime all the usual services each Lord'B Day will be held at the uaual hours. If you do not find your friend on the street cor ner next Sunday you had letter look in at the Christian Bible School. Ho -is likely to be there. Geo. II. lfcinv aey. ' With tho commencement of school last Monday nine new pupils wore enrolled in the public .school. They were, Lyaander S. Logan, Itena Gil bert, Arthur Henalcy, Doris Manned, Bert Welch, Frank Welch,' Charles Charlton, Orville Coffelt, and Mar garett Coffelt. Do not forget the next Parent- Teacheri' meeting. It will be held next Tuesday at 7.30 P. M., at the high school building. We would like lo see twice the number present at thia meeting that were there at the last. Let every one do all ho can to make this a success this year. The following program will bo given. High School All VAUDEVILLE AT LYRIC The Dorothy Bruce Company of high class entertainers will play at the Lyric tonight and tomorrow evening, preonting three acta of vaudeville and the regular picture program at popular prices. This company features a five year old tot, Baby Orpha, a child who sings in a masterful voice the latest song suc ceses. A big time vaudeville hit, "When Johnny comes Marching Home" will be played tonight, also Baby Orpha will play the leading role in her own drama "The Third Generation", this being a sequel to tho famous atory "Little Lord Fauntleroy" His Failing.
