Black and son Randall of Blizzard ridge were in town last Saturday. Wm. Tackman passed through Prineville today on his return from a trip to The Dalles. Mr. Tackman owns a stock ranch near Held. Sutton who is now principal of the Burns schools was chosen for the principalship. Mr. Sutton was a member of the last legislature from Lane county, has held principalship positions in the Springfield and Enterprise schools and comes highly recom mended. The remainder of the teaching staff will ramain as at present. The teachers for the grades are: May Hewes, Emily Shreder, Ruth Haw ley, Myrtle Jcfferies, Jane Allen, Mrs. Wigle and Mrs. Gray.
