McK. Ball be paid the sum of (412.85
on account, for his services as ex
pert accountant, according to a bill
now on flit lu the office of the county
clerk mid a warrant be drawn In his
favor on presentation of the said
bill.
Upon motion, ordered that Mrs.
U. Springer be reimbursed for her ex
penses Incurred In taking a delin
quent child to Portland and that a
warrant be drawn for the same

Geo. Hobba entertained three gentle

Mr. Hobba last full, was one of the
party. All of the men are mining men
from California and are interested in
some placer claims on the h-ad of the
Ochoco, for which place they stared
Friday, accompanied by Mr. II ibi.

J. T. Benson, formerly of Tennessee,
is a visitor at the K. L. Moore home.
The tale and supper given bv the
Koronis Club Friday evening at Wilsun
schoolhoute was a huge success. There
wa a splendid turnout, notwithstand
ing the unfavorable weather conditions.
The ladies cleared approximately (45,
which figures are far in advance of the
most optomistic and go to show that
our people are only too glad to respond
to an invitation for a social evening
when the opportunity i given them.
