Christmas services at the Metho
dist church Sunday. Subject for

Special music has been prepared for

Wirtz - Dobbs Wedding Bells.
Willard H. Wirtz and Miss Aver
Dobbs were married last evening at
7 o'clock at the home of the bride's
parents. Rev. McAllister of the
Baptist church officiating. Only a
few intimate friends, outside of the
family, were present.
Mr. Wirtz is our popular young
county attorney, and the bride is
the youngest daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. E. S. Dobbs. The young
couple will be at home to their
friends in theJMaling house.

Pioneer Creamery, has been elected
to the Executive Board of the
State Butter and Cheese Men's As
sociation. Vernon Bell is coming home from
Stanford University for the holi
days. This is Vernon's sophomore
year. He got his high school train
ing at the Crook County High.
At 4 o'clock next Sunday after
noon there will be a vesper service
of the Protestant Episcopal church
at the Union church. Everyone is
invited to come and worship with
us.

Co., were Prineville visitors Satur
day.
The school children can hardly
wait for Tag Day to begin selling
tags. Many have secured promises
for 10 and some have reported 20
and 30 sold- This is a good chance
to. play Santa Claus for the little
ones.
Judge Springer got home Sunday
evening from the convention of
county judges at Portland. Widow's
pensions, taxes, county administra
tion and improved roads were the
principal themes of discussion.

Club Hall. A committee from the

Roscoe II. Kincaid and Hazel
Demaris' were married Sunday at
the home of Robert Zevely. Judge
Bowman tied the knot.
William Draper and Mrs. Mary
Vanderpool were married at the
home of the bride Tuesday evening.

church performed the ceremony.

and evening. Rev. Hicks will
preach at both services. Mr. Zinke
will furnish speciul music.
