The picture story of a trip through Hades, an authentic interpretation of "Divinna Cornmedia," better known to the
American Public as "Dante's Inferno." The result of Two Years Great Labor and more than $ 1 00,000 expended, in
fivereels, taking nearly two hours to present. The Poet, Dante, under the guidance of the Shade of the Poet Virgil, is
taken through the Infernal Region, where the souls of departed men, women and children languish amid the fire and
brimstone, seared and suffering for sordid sins.
More than a hundred different wonderful scenes, showing "Cerberus," the three-headed monster; fierce "Pluto;" the
giant, "Nimrod" the "River Acheron;" the grim judge "Minos;" the boatman "Phlegyas;" the "City of Dis;" the monster
"Geryon," "Lucifer," and many, many others.
