Lininger, was thoroughly enjoyed by all who were fortunate enough to hear it. The huh school was assisted by pupils from the public school and other musical talent of the city. The choruses were sung by about fifty voices' and showed much careful work and training. Some of the selections deserving Epecial mentiou were the duet by Mesdames Eikins and Coe, "Morn ing Invitation," in which the solos were effectively rendered by Mrs. Coe and Miss Conway; the Night ingale Chorus by the young laiies of the high school, the reading by Miss Gitchel, the instrumental duet by Misses Milliorn and Noble, and last, but among the best, the chorus, by fifty boys and girls of the public school. The college song3 ranged all the way from ''Mary and Her Lamb" to the well known song, "We Meet Again." All of the?e were eung with a spirit and vim that showed the boys and girls were up and doing. The proceeds of the entertain ment go toward swelling the fund for the boys' gymnasium.
