IJeutor came to Oregon from
Indiana about sis years ago. lie
had boon a farmer in Indiana,
but had not had more than ordi
nary success. He wentintoCen-
tral Oregon, took up a homestead
and applied intelligent methods
of cultivation.
L. V. Hill, president of the
Great Northern Railway, became
interested in his methods and
his success a few years ago, and
when in Central Oregon last
spring visited Reuter on his
ranch. Mr. Hill at various times
since has engaged Reuter to pre
pare speceimen exhibits to be
used by the Great Northern in
calling attention to the agricul
tural possibilities of the state.
Reuter declares his results can
be duplicated by any farmer of
ordinary efficiency and common
sense.
