Oregon Hotel management that
the counee were not yet completed
at 2 o'clock thin iLorning. .
A great many friend of the
local lodge were present as well an
the member themselves and visit
ing Pythian, before the ban
quet a ahort meeting was held in
the lodgeroom where the visiting
mogul where given an oppor
tunity to meet the i'rineville mem
ber. Short talk were indulged
in at the lodge meeting no that
consequently the toasts at the
banquet were hort.

toastmatcr. lie introduced both
Mr. Wrightmnn and Mr. Stinnon
who made a few remark touching
upon the principle and endeavor
of the Knight of I'vtbia, giving it
ahort history of the organization

Mr. Wrightmnn and Mr. Stinson
came yesterday from tirant
county. They are making their
annual inspection and visit to the
lodges in this domain, which in
cludes all the state of Oregon and
will leave for Itend this evening
where their next visit will take
place.
Horace Stricklin
Taken to Asylum
Horace Stricklen, a slieepherder
for Kuhn on Heaver creek, wa
adjudged insane by Dr. Belknap.
Stricklin was brought in last
Friday and confined in a cell used
by female prisoners. It is not in
