William Kldd of tho Pocatello divi
sion of the Oregon Short Una was
killed and Deputy Sheriff Wilton of
Idaho tatuily wounded In a fight with
two bandits arrested on a Short Lino
train at High Bridge, Idaho.
Tho men were arrestod and Wilton
had taken two revolvers from them.
Ons of the bandits golxed ono of the
guna and shot Wilton. Kldd grappled
with the robber and was shot to
death.
The bandits s'gmilled the train to
stop and escaped.
