Sunday. Now that Prineville has
broken the hoodoo and won a
game from Bend a fierce old time
may be looked for next Sunday.

Ray V. Constable and three chil
dren, Guy Lafollette and three
children, L. C. Morgan and child,
L. A. Booth and child, and F. M.
O'Connor and child.
Miss Flossie Whiteis.the teacher
of the Bear creek school, reports
the following named pupils as
neither absent nor tardy for the

Teachers' examinations for state
papers will be held by Superin
tendent Ford in Prineville June
21 to 24, inclusive. Those holding
certificates that expire in. August
and county permits should take
this examination if they expect to
teach this fall.
Superintendent Ford says that
the school record of Crook county
made last month is not excelled by
any county in the state. Out of
80 applicants that took the exami
nations only six failed. Sixteen
were conditioned in one subject
and thirteen in two subjects.
