Last Friday marked the close of the Prineville public schools. The afternoon was given to the gradu ating exercises of the eighth grade. This class consisted of eleven students and was one of the two classes in the state that can boast of every member successfully pnss-j ing the state examinations. This class has the further distinction of making the highest general aver age of any in the state, viz , 91 per cent. The class address was given by Mrs. It. E. dray and the diplomas were presented by Principal Meyers who complimented the class on the excellent work they had done throughout the year. Prof. E. L.
