The Prineville Public schools J The real beginning of the finish
this year graduated the beet class of the school year occurs next Sun-
Crook County High
Commencement
in its history. It was not the
largest in point of numbers, but
the class average wsb the highest.
The class of 1910 was said to be
one of the strongest to enter the
Crook County High but the 1911's
set out with the determination to
beat it and did so. The class
made a general average of 91 2-33
per cent. This is excellent work
and reflects much credit upon Prin
cipal Myers, who is an earnest
worker for his boys and girls.
The entire class expect to enter
the high school next September.
Their names are as follows:

Mabel Slayton, Mary Jones, Mil

The sixth grade pupils finished
their work in physiology and took
the examination with the eighth
grade. All made an average above
1)0, with one exception. The
names of the sixth grade are as

Programme
Decoration Day will be observed
in Prineville most appropriately.
The Rev. Mr. Lininger has out
lined the program for the day as
follows:
Marshal of the day.
The churches and lodges will meet
at their respective meeting places at
9:30 a. m. All will assemble on First
Btreet ut 10 a. m., where the line of
march will be formed. Then march
to the cemetery. After a short ad
dress the graves of the soldier dead
will be decorated.
The line will be as follows:
Band.
Old soldiers.
The various Sunday Schools.
Churches.
Ladies and Ladies' lodges.
The various lodges.
The above will conclude the exer
cises for the day.
An elaborate program will be
given at the Club Hall, beginning
promptly at 8 p. in.
Any one knowing of soldier graves
will confer a favor by calling at the
office of C. O. Pollard and leaving
information concerning same.
It is requested that all orders and
lodges will curry their banners and
flugs and that every one In line will
provide his or her own flag. Let us
make the day patriotic as well as
memorial.
