ranch. Mrs. Milllcan is making final
proof on her homestead.
Ir. H. P. Belknap spent Saturday
and Sunday with his son, Horace,
who Is doing good work at the
state university at Eugene.

Fred Powell and wife passed

week on their way home from Port
land. The storm Sunday morning did
not prevent n good congregation
gathering at the Powell Butte school
house. They had a preaching ser
vice in the morning and Suuday
School in the afternoon. Several
people walked from three to six
miles between their home and the
sehoolhouse, this includes a number
of women.

her visit to Portland last week.
