The highest grade was made by Thursday Kent of Culver, who received 100 credits in ach of six studies, and made a final average of 98 and two elev enths per cent. Her lowest grade James Magness Shoots Himself James Magness, a contractor and builder who has been operating in Madras for several years, com niitted suicide Monday morning about 4 o'clock by shooting him self in the head with a pistol. Mr. Kord savs that this was was an honest and concientious the hardest in spelling he ever saw as there were 100 test words given with no options. Other high grades were won by Miss Theresa Cassiday, Mrs. Ada Strotts, Miss Flossy Berry, Miss Boyd and Miss Mary Davies. ' Mr. Ford says that while the supply of teachers is short, they are more plentiful than last year, and if all come from other places who have promised, the schools will all be supplied. Seventh-day Adventist L. A. Gibson and C. J. Cum tnings, the Seventh-day Adventist ministers, are still carrying on a successful meeting in the tent every night. They expect to con tinue for some time. The tent is made very comfort able by having good seats, electric lights and a stove to warm it whn needed.
