SMITH'S Prices that You Will Find Right After Considering Quality GENERAL MERCHANDISE SISTERS OREGON The Portland Pathfinder Car H. R. Glenn and E. Frank, path finders of the Portland Automobile Club, arrived in Prineville Mon day evening two days late after a hard trip from The Dalles. They were caught in the recent rain storm and consequently suffered all the discomfort and inconveni ences of automobiling in the mud. These gentlemen are making maps of this section, showing the beet roadd, indicating the bad or dangerous place.', pointing out the beet places at which to stop, and also giving directions where gaso line, oilf, repairs, etc., can be had. Mr. filenn said that there were a great number of automobile owners in Portland and valley towns that had outgrown local environment and wanted to try longer runs, but were deterred by lack of informa tion. It is this information that the pathfinder party is going to supply. With good roads and good hotels this country should re ceive an enormous amount of traffic from the automobile travel ing public. From here Mr. Glenn will go to Mitchell, then to Biker City, Pen dleton, Umatilla, The Dalles, and back to Portland.
