Ben Ezra" and the reading of the
"Lost Leader" were all enjoyed
and appreciated by the members.
The club voted to close the year's

meeting of the officer of the forest
service for District 0, which Include
Oregon, Washington, Idaho, North

Interchange of Ideas on the adminis
tration of the forest service work.

friends at a masked high Jink party
last Saturday evening, March 11th.
Mis Evelyn Mllllorn presided at the

County Granges
Get Together
The granges of Crook county met at
Powell Butte Saturday, March 12, for
the purpose of etecting a delegate to the
state grange in May. J. H. Gray,
master, and T. H. Iafollette, past
master, represented the Prine vllle
Orange. C. H. Foster, master of
Powell Butte Grange wa elected dele
gate, with J. Alton Thomson of Laid
law, as alternate.
A call was issued by the grange for a
meeting of the masters, secretaries and
lecturers to take place at Redmond en
April 30. This meeting will draw up
memorials to be presented to the sta'e
grange and by that body taken op with
the member of the state legislature.
Matters affecting irrigation in the
connty will come tip for discussion.
The grange spirit throughout the
connty ia growing and much good can
be accomplished along agricultural and
educational lines.
