The Cold Stays Out and the Style Stays In
when you're wearing a Sincerity overcoat. Warm enough for the
keenest cold, but light enough not to be a burden. The makers
reshrink fabrics that come from the
mill marked 'fully shrunk" 'till the
loss is 15 per cent that's their loss.
As a result the style stays in that's
your gain. And every stitch every
bit of work on a Sincerity garment
is directed towards making the style .

Wool Growers Take
Up Imporeant Matters
At the twelfth annual convention
of the Oregon Wool Growers' Asso
ciation, which was held at Pendle
ton, practically every eubject that
could possibly affect the sheep in
dustry was thoroughly discussed,
eays the Journal. On all the more
important subjects from the wool
schedule in the new tariff law to
the value of mutton as a food pro
duct the convention adopted res
olutions. .
To the Oregon representatives in
congress the wool growers extended
their thanks for the effective work
done in helping to retain the Ding
ley schedule on wool.
The government was called upon
to provide adequate inspection to
prevent the importation of shoddy
and other counterfeits of wool.
Attention was called to the sheep
killing outrages on the range, and
the opinion expressed that dep
redations of this charicter had de
creased during the past year. In
dorsement was given the work of
the United States bureau of animal
industry in the suppression and
eradication of sheep diseases.
The authorities of Wyoming and
Montana were asked to raise the
quarantine against Oregon sheep
for the reason that the disease
known as "scabbies" had entirely
disappeared from among the flocks
of this state.
The practice of the railroads in
delaying sheep in transit was de
clared to be without just cause and
as frequently resulting in serious
loss to the shipper. A demand was
made for lower freight rates on
shipments of wool . to the eastern
market; and the state railroad com
mission was commended for its ef
forts to bring about a general re
adjustment of freight rates.
Attention was called to certain
evils existing in the administration
of the forest reserve relative to the
grazing of livestock thereon and
the government called upon to
correct these evils. Approval was
given the principle of forest pres
ervation by means of forest re
serves, the convention declaring
that it was not opposed to forestry
policy. Sheep growers through
out the state were called upon to
wage vigorous warfare on coyotes
and other sheep killing animals to
the end that tire state may be freed
from these destructive pests.
