name with a capital of ItWCO. The
transfer Includes all the stage stock
"of the lines, automobiles, etc., used
In connection with the business, Mr.
Cornett retaining a!l the real estate
that he owns. The new manage
ment has already taken control, but
- the articles of Incorporation have
not been filed nor the formal trans
fer made. It la not known who will
be associated with Keams brothers
In the Incorporation, and they do
not know themselves as yet who the
third Incorporator will be. This
company operates several huudred
miles of stage lines in Central Orecoa

A popular lecture wiil ie delivered
by the Rev. John Lewtas on next
Wednesday evening in the M. E.
church. The subject will be, "What
I saw In Greece, Turkey, Syria, the
Holy Land and Egypt." The lecture

as Klamath Fails. Mr.' McArthur was
speaker of the house in the laet Oregon

Manager Erositia cf the moving pic
ture show will run special films all next
week for the entertainment of the
crowds who will attend the fair. In ad.
dition to having special programs each
night Miss Mabel Wilson, a finger from
Seattle, will sirg and dance at each per
formance. Estes Short, who has been con
structing a telephone line for the
forest service since the 5th of list
July, returned home to Prineville
yesterday, he and the men with him
having completed the line from
Sugar creek to Hanger creek station,
a distance of three and a half miles.
Telephone messages can now be sent
from Prineville through to the sta
tion as soon as a few repairs are
made on one of the old sections.
The Sbumia Club was entertained at

into the Dewhutes Talley Is to lie
rushed to completion comes this
week In the form of the letting of a
cou tract for saw lug and delivery of
three million feet of bridge timbers
along the company's right of way In
this couuty.
This week M. Topllff & Company
purchased a timber claim on upper
Willow creek and at once entered
Into a contract with Lou Hamilton
for lugging the timber and delivering
It at the millslte on the claim, 10,000
feet per day for the first few weeks
and 23.000 feet dally thereafter until
3,000,000 feet have been delivered.
The machinery for the sawmill, o
big steam outfit, Is now on the way
In from Shanlko, and co time will be
lust by the new company In putting
It In operation. The timbers an to
be Iroin 14 to 20 feet In length. The
contract provides for their delivery

Trunk line right of way.
