Belknap & Ed wards amputated the right leg of Hermann Dogner, of Madras, about six Inches above the knee. Some five years ago this boy Injured his knee Joint accidentally and has suf fered with It almost continually ever since. At one time be was In a sani tarium at Portland and every known treatment was used.
