Redmond News.
Redmond, July 12.
' We hardly exacted to see any
Crook County Journal come out
this last week on account of hav
ing no lied mood Notes, but it
seems they also have their
resources. The truth is, about the
time these Journal notes usually
get written, everybody was helping
to get Mrs. Park ready to start the
next morning for Ottumwa, Iowa.
The last week's improvement has
been quite rapid and she felt able
to travel alone. Word received
from her states that she stayed
over a day in Shaniko and started
from there Thursday morning in
good aha pe.
Hotel Redmond now has a new
head. 1L M. Bmltb took charge

BEES-HONEY-MONEY !

Tho bee industry in Crook County should Lo
entered into by a great many more than now do. (h
It doesn't seem to be generally known that they do
exceptionally well here, and tho price of honey is
always high.

Bees travel from two to four miles to gather
honey, so that if there h an alfalfa field within
this distance from your place, you can profitably care (J)
for bees. We feel that a few stands of bees at every ?f?
ranch will give the greatest returns on the money
invested of any branch of industry on the place. We
have recently received a complete assortment of )
Bee Supplies of the "Root's Patent" make, which
are made different and from better material than the
common western make. We can supply all your needs
along this line.
