The totals ehow an in. crease of sixty-eight over the regis tration for the primaries in 1906, and more than 450 over the regis tration four years ago. Thirty precincts are on the clerk's list this year, the new one being Lyle Gap. The republican majority shows a slight increase over that of two years ago, the present plurality over the demo crats reaching. 507 as compared with 467 in 1906. Out of the total number register ed 1043 are republicans, 536 demo crats, 71 socialists, 22 independent, 19 prohibitionists and 16 no party. Prineville is the banner precinct with 220 voters and Kutcher a close second, with but 20 less. The number of voters that failed to register is not known but it is safe to say that the total for the county will reach 2300 or powibly 2500 before the election in June. On April 10, 1908, Mrs. Charity Wilson, aged S3. Mrs. Wilson was born in Wayne county, Ohio, February 20, 1S25. She crossed the plains in 1849 and located in Lane county where she lived until 1877 when she came to this country. Thirteen children were born to her, ten of whom are living. They are Mrs. Peterson and Mrs. Batdorf of Oregon City, Mrs. Crane, N. B. Lytle and Mrs. Perry Poindexter, Prineville, M. L. Lytle of California, William Lytle, Lucian Lytle and I). L.
