Put This Stove In Your Kitchen It U wonderfully convenient to do kitchen work on a ttove that's ready at the instant wanted. and out of the way the moment you're done. Such a store i the New Perfection Wick Blue Flame Oil Cook -Stove. By using it you avoid the continuous overpowering heat of a coal fire and cook with comfort, even in dog days. The NEW PERFECTION Wick Blue Flame Oil Cook-Stove is so constructed that it cannot add perceptibly to the heat of a room; the flame being directed up a retaining chimney to the stove top where it is needed for cooking. You can fJ see that a stove sending out heat in but tmt di- I rection would be preferable on a hot day to a stove radiating heat in u directions. The "New Perfection'' keeps a kitchen uniformly comfortable. Three s'ses, fully warranted. STANDARD OIL COMPANY (laewporated) STOCKMEN LIKEBARTRUM Forest Supervisor Highly Com mended b Resolutions Drawn by Users of Range ALLOTMENTS SUIT ALL PARTIES hsportut Meetiag HeM m PriaevilU to Adjast Differeaces Betwcea Cattlefaea sad Sbeee ea Was A Great Saceen A very important meeting of Crook county etocktnen wae held at the court house Saturday. The meeting was called by S.C. Bar trum, of Roseburg, for the purpose of adjusting differences between cattle and sheep owners who range their stock in the Cascade National Forest. The meeting was well at tended by users of the range, not only from all parts of Crook county, but from parts of Wasco. ine ioresi omcers that were present are as follows: S. C. Bar- trum of Roseburg, supervisor of the Umpqua division of the Cas cade (South) National Forest; Clyde R. Seitz, supervisor of the Willamette Division of the Cas cade National Forest with head quarters at Eugene, and Deputy Supervisor of the same division, J. Roy Harvey. The important issue before the meeting was the adjustment of al lotments the object of which was to eliminate any friction. This and much was accomplished and the result was highly satisfactory to all. The work was all accomplish ed through committees of stock men and the actions of the com mittees were endorsed by the of ficers without exception. The most important change in allotments was the concession of the south and east side of the Des chutes to the interests in exchange for which they gave the cattle own ers all of Crane Prairie. Resolutions were passed which were highly commendatory of the administration of Supervisor Bar- trum. He was the first forest officer to meet with Crook 'county stockmen in the regulation of range matters some years ago and it is largely owing to his tact and good judgment that such amicable relations exist between cattle and sheep men. Mr. Bartrum was also given due credit for the improved condition of the range. Three times as much stock can now be fed as under the old methods. A vote of thanks was extended to Messrs. Seitz and Harvey for their willingness to assist in the meeting and carry out its objects. The Forest officers left Sunday afternoon for Shaniko on their re turn to their respective places of duty.
