son addreed the student taking

is dangerously ill at Prineville.

critical condition.
C. J. Johnson left today for his
ranch on Crooked river. Mr.
Johnson says he will turn moxt his
cattle on the range as graxs is good
and he thinks the winter is over.
The many friends and neighbors
of Mrs. N. F. McCoin gave that

Linn Nichols and Z. Stroud, who

There was quite a little celebra
tion at the home of Mrs. Alex
Thomson last Saturday evening.
This was the natal day of Dr.
Dunsniore and 'Mrs. Millican. and
also the date of the wedding anni
versary of Dr. and Mrs Belknap,
so Mrs. Millican determined to
have a sort of joint celebration to
commemorate the oc c a s i o n.

to pass a very pleasant evening.

Ttie Presbyterian church ha
been thoroughly refurnished this
week, including a fine new carpet,
covering the entire floor. Folding
opera chairs have been installed
ith seating accommodations for
one hundred and fifty, and a new
pulpit, the latter the gift of the
Sunday school. An eighteen-ligbt
electric chandelier and two side
bracket lights, with a shaded pul
pit lamp are the gift of Mr. and
Mrs. Hugh Lister to the church.
The balance ef the furnishings
have all been bought by the
Ladies' Aid Society of the church, j
The interior of the church is now
one of the neatest auditoriums to
be found outside the large cities.
Regular services will be held
next Sunday, Dr. Dunsmore
preaching morning and evening.
