J. H. Hawkins, of Howard and W.
B. Smith, of Salstbury, Oregon, have
taken a contract of logging 10,000,000
feet of timber tor the Wisconsin A
Oregon Lumber Co., of Baker City.
Mr. Hawkins will leave Saturday tor
the latter and work on the contract
will begin at once. It will take them
about a year to finish the work.
