sudden death of Leo. Wlltse, ai,td
17 years, at P. T. Monroe's ranch on
Trout creek. He had not lieen feel-

to his death hut nothing serious was
thought to be the jnntler. On Sat
urday evening liefore retiring he
told Mr. and Mrs. Monroe that he
was feeling much " butter. About
midnight Mrs. Monroe was awak
ened by hearing moans- from his
room and awoke her husband to go
and see what was the matter. Mr.
Monroe upon entering the room saw
that he was dying and .although all
that was possible was done to aid
him he expired In a few minutes after.
The remains will probably lie buried
nt Antelox. His parents reside at
Springfield, Oregon. Mrs. ( ('. Dun
ham nnd Mrs. 11. D. Dunham, of this
cily anil Mrs. L. E. Douglas, of Hay
Creek were cousins of the deceased.
