Portland is extremely jealous of
any invasion of her trade territory
in Central and Kastern Oregon by
auy outside rivai. and yet Port
land takes no venture to increase
that trade and bind it to her. If
Kastern Oregon cattle, sheep, hiy
and grain are shipped eastward it
is Portland's fault, for she can
afford to handle all the entire out
put of the Kastern Oregon counties.
