J. II. Cornett, of Summit Prnirle,
and Iighton Morgnn, of Paulina,
have bought the Hacklemnn horses
and are now In tills vicinity gather
ing a few carload for shipment.
Professor Hurley bus been quite
sick here for the past few days aud
we are all hoping he will soon la'
well.

acquaintance.
Kd Harbin, who has completed
several bridge in the Heaver creek

on a business trip to Shaniko.
Frank Smith, Orvllle Davison and
Louis Tlce came in tills week from
the desert where they went on a ride
with some parties from Sliver Lake
looking for cattle. Only a few head
were found.
