Oreiron. for the punmse of electing delegates to the National Livestock convention which meets in Denver January 10-14 inclusive. The range problems will also be thoroughly discussed with a view of nettling any and all tlidiculties. A general Invitation iH extended to all Stockmen to attend. A. An elegantly mounted wild cat, shot fifteen years ago on the site of the Agricultural Building at the Lewis ami Clark Centennial, will be on exhibition at the Fair. The building which will house Russia's exhibit of paintings by modern Russian artists will le a replica of an old Moscow palace used by the Romanoff kings of the early times. Coos county, Oregon, will have a pavilion of its own at the Ix-wis and Clark Centennial. The building will lie constructed entirely of Coos coun ty woods, and will be in itself an exhibit of interest. The Philippine villages will le in habited by about three hundred natives representing several different trilx-s. There will be the head-hnnt-ing; dog-eating Igorrotes, the fight ing Moros, the Negritos, who are the real aborigines of the Islands, and the gentle, civilized Visayans. Tlie natives will arrive at the Ex position some time in April and will build their own houses out of bam boo and nipa. Besides the wild t ribes, the Govern ment will detfiil HMJ Filipino Scouts for duty at the Exposition. The Scouts are made up of representa tives of the higher class Filipinos and are a part of the regular army. A band of native musicians will probably accompany the company. Far away Persia will send to the Lewis and Chirk Centennial an elabo rate display of Oriental art. This display, which will be a notable one in Exposition history, will include a valuable collection of rugs, paint ings, potteries and tapestries, the display being made officially by the Persian Government. Ths art display will be of fabulous value, representing more money than will be spent In producing the entire Exposition. There will be not a few paintings worth on the mar ket at least $100,000 each, und the aggregate value of the display will amount to millions of dollars. Notice For Publication.
