The town of NelHon, in Brititth Columbia lum not been afraid to venture into the field of municipal ownership, and the firxt result arc of a moat encouraging nature. After providing for. all the charge, the people in Nelwn are 118,90(1 in KK'kct through 'owning their water ttervice and $23,076 ahead through owning their electric light service aince 1807. The town was incorxratcd that year, and the electric light and waterworks taken over by the municipality, and thexe two service Mince then have pro fited the municipality to the ag gregate of $12,013.
